1950: Korean War begins. Stalin supports the North, Americans the South
DATE: June 24th, 1950DESCRIPTION: This is the event that sparked the great problem in Korea today. The split between North and South Korea, this event was primarily the result of the political division between the North and the South by an agreement of the victorious Allies in the Pacific War.
BLAME: Now the tension rises as these two go head to head (indirectly) with supporting the North for the Russians and the South for the USA. The blame here is no one, everyone is at their own wills to support their own ideas. It is really split right down the middle for blame it isn't entirely the Americans fault and it isn't entirely the Soviets fault they are just defending their allies. But it does however increase the tensions because now they are defending those with the same kind of ideologies. Again the one to blame is ideologies, this is again because of the sheer disagreements with capitalism and communism and its very different ways of controlling a nation. It is to blame for the rising tensions that transpire due to the Korean war.
TENSION INCREASE:The Korean War really sparked the indifference between the indifference between the ideologies of communist Russia and the USA. This war highlighted the ideologies and the deep split between the two. Ideologies make a big factor in this war it is the war of ideologies after all. +1
