1947: Marshall Plan

DATE: June 1947

DESCRIPTION: The Marshall Plan was the American program to aid Europe. This is where USA is willing to give economic support to rebuild European economies.

BLAME: The tension is increasing as well and its reaching a tense boiling point after all these events that create hate between these two nations. It also raises the tension as Europe recovers with the aid of the Americans, making it harder for the USSR. The blame was on USA because with this plan Soviets have an increasing hate towards them due to the fact that they are sending aid to the devastated Europe and giving them another breath of fresh air from the horrors of WWII.

TENSION INCREASE: The Marshall plan introduced by America to help Europe out of its economic disaster after the war was highly subjected harshly by the USSR. It angered Stalin that the USA and Britain were helping each other out after the war. The Marshall plan was despised by Staling and in fact he tried to kill the plan but he decided that this is a bad plan and backed-off. +2
